★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pathetic doctor who likes to talk a lot...in my opinion is in the practice for money not because he cares....went to him for help with a previous diagnose and he said the previous diagnose was wrong and took me down a garden path and was proven totally wrong by nucleur medicine and specialized blood tests....he never even bothered to contact me with results....I had to go to my GP..after four months he finally saw me again and his attitude was pretty much summed up just having to ''suck it up'....I totally disrespect him as a doctor
In the meantime my GP arranged for me to see a different Rehab doctor who I would rate a 5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was suffering with chronic pain for over 2 years before finally being referred to Dr. Weiss. I’d been to so many different doctors over that time. I’d had all sorts of X-Rays and had been prescribed acupuncture, ozone injections, physio therapy, chiropractic adjustment, trigger point injection chiselling therapy... it seemed like every doctor in Vancouver just wanted to stick needles into me and inflict more pain. Finally I got referred to dr Weiss and he ACTUALLY listened. He evaluated my range of movement, then sent me for the right type X-Rays to diagnose me with osteoarthritis. Unfortunately it was so bad by that point that there was no alternative to surgery, but he made sure I got a great referral and got the care I needed.
I cannot recommend Dr Weiss enough. He is excellent at what he does.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hope his actual Doctoring is better than his expertise on military veterans. He belittled my service, and said I wasn't a veteran. Said that x rays and MRIs don't show bone, and called me a liar when I told him my GP said she couldn't access my x ray films. Then he blamed me and my work for doing what WorksafeBC said I was capable of doing (full duties, no restrictions, and no partial wage coverage). Then after informing him I'd just had an injection in my ac joint 4 days prior, he still had me moving my arm to max range of motion and then tested with resistance. Then he prescribed a rib belt for healing rib fracture(s), when I can barely wear a bra. All of this did not fill me with confidence that he was going to give an unbiased opinion to WorksafeBC. Hopefully the bone density scan he's ordered will tell the true tale of my injuries. I'll amend this review after I see the results of his input.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years of chronic pain, multiple surgeries and buckets of medication, Dr Weiss quickly identified the root cause and offered options. His bedside manner is great and he truly cares. He took time to really listen.
