A 15-minute consult can be arranged prior to your first appointment. This provides a small amount of time to ask questions, but most importantly, decide if working together fits your needs and goals.
An hour-long initial appointment will then be scheduled, in clinic or tele-medically (a really great option for those that live outside of access to these services, or for those not comfortable with in-person care during these unknown times).
Before we meet, a series of health questionnaires and paperwork will be sent to you. It can feel lengthy. But it is such an essential part of your health diagnosis. If you have ever felt rushed in the conventional medical world, not taken seriously, or worse, brushed off, this is where Functional Medicine really stands apart.
Our initial appointment is for you. It is a chance to tell your story. To express all of your medical concerns and previous health history. A chance to outline for me, what it is you hope to achieve, physically and emotionally. We will discuss diet and lifestyle modifications as well as what tests are required in order to create the perfect treatment plan for you.
Once testing is finished, an analysis will be completed by my team, and a follow-up Report Of Findings appointment will be scheduled. Here is where we further discuss treatment strategy, supplementation, medication, diet, stress management, etc.
It doesn’t stop there. Coaching calls will be continued for support, guidance, and assistance as you make your way towards your health goals.
