It has taken me a while to write this review, mostly because there are so many wonderful things to say about our experience - I don't even know where to start! Dorota & Marcin met with us on zoom a couple of times before we chose a location for our first look and elopement hike. They were incredible with helping guide us to the perfect location for what we wanted to experience! When we met them at 3:00am, they greeted us with open arms, and we were all full of excitement! They came prepared, and offered us hiking poles. Coming from Ontario, and not having been in the mountains for many years, we both had forgotten about the tough terrain at the top of the mountains. Our night hike was full of laughs and talks about everything you can imagine. The conversation was easy, and we felt like we made new friends. They had planned our timing so that we had some extra time to get to the top for the sunrise just in case we were slow hikers, so the hike was a perfect pace for us. Once we got to the top, we enjoyed some snacks and they helped Mitch and I get ready in our wedding attire. It was definitely cold, but seeing the sun rise peak over the mountains was beyond incredible. Dorota and Marcin had packed extra coats that they had us wear on the breaks from the photos so we stayed warm. They had great pose ideas, and they made it so much fun! The hike was just as fun on the way down as it was on the way up, and seeing the scenery in the sunlight was breathtaking. We even made a couple of animal friends along the way. The photos turned out incredible, and the memories will last a lifetime! We are so grateful to have been able to experience working with Dorota and Marcin. We would absolutely recommend their elopement night hike to anyone up for an adventure!! Thank you so much Dorota and Marcin!!

Dorota and Marcin are these kind of person that make you feel very good and comfortable when they are taking photos. They are funny and amazing. The photos are incredibly breathtaking. I and my fiancee loved so much the photos and the time with them.

We chose Marcin and Dorota to photograph our Kananaskis elopement - but we got so much more. From the beginning, they assisted with choosing locations, finding an officiant, and planning the hike. On the day, they were so great to work with. They are professional in their approach but also friendly, funny, knowledgeable and genuinely a real treat to be around. When working with Marcin and Dorota, you’re not just getting photographers but also good company and excellent hiking guides. They also came prepared with additional supplies to ensure a safe adventure for everyone. The coats to keep us warm between various shots while on the top of a cold, windy mountain was a really nice touch. And the photos are absolutely stunning. We couldn’t be any happier with what we have received from them. After working with these two, we left with more than just the best wedding photographs we could imagine, but also new friends and great memories. Thanks Marcin and Dorota!

Marcin and Dorota were fantastic to work with! They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We had so much fun and they made our day feel like pure magic. From the time we met them in the parking lot, to the time they had us standing on a rock ledge (lol) they made us feel very comfortable and safe. They knew exactly the best angles and light to capture the most amazing photographs. We are so very impressed with everything they delivered during our elopement. 10/10 would highly recommend!! What an amazing day. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture these moments. Dorota and Marcin are incredible, professional and highly recommended. They make you feel so comfortable the moment you meet them. It was a crazy experience. We have never hiked in the dark before, and starting at 1:30am is not easy. But they made it so much better by just being there with us. We were origionally going to get married in Germany summer 2021, but postponed that until summer 2022. But we had an idea of getting eloped at a crazy location. We've been following Dorota and Marcin for a couple years now and was stoked when we found out our date was free for them to be our photographers! We loved their eye for detail in their photos and the way they capture moments. We can't put into words how breath taking our photos are. It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you both so much. We had so much fun. We will never forget how perfect that day was ❤

Dorota and Marcin made us feel extremely comfortable the day of our wedding AND they captured extremely authentic photos. They are personable, funny and great at their jobs. We received almost 600 photos from our wedding day. They also were strong communicators via email and zoom prior to the wedding day and showed up earlier than the time frame we had payed for. I would recommend BDFK photography for anyone!
