β β β β β There are a lot of ups and downs when it comes to selling a house.Β There were a lot of things that I found myself afraid of, a lot of unknowns as I went to sell my house. Doug was amazing to work with. He answered all my questions, he was straight with me and gave me realistic expectations for my property. He was personable, quick to answer any messages I left for him, and was very professional during the entire transaction. I would highly recommend him as a realtor! You won't be disappointed.

I am fairly new to Medicine Hat and rented from Doug Anderson and his wife, Toby, for a short while. After moving in it became apparent that the property had some serious issues that had been covered up.
The suite was never cleaned before I moved in. When cleaning I found a pile of dead bugs and insecticide hiding behind the furnace. This made sense after I figured out the rental property was infested with several species of bugs. My morning routine involved doing a sweep of the house looking for bugs and the numbers only seemed to be increasing. I got out as soon as I could. When it comes time to buy a house in Medicine Hat I will NOT be using Doug Anderson.

β β β β β I cannot recommend Doug Anderson enough as a realtor!! He is incredibly patient and truly goes above and beyond for his clients. He was very honest with us, and we definitely felt like he always had our best interest at heart. Buying a house in the pandemic had the potential to be very stressful, but Doug's commitment and support made the whole process manageable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Doug for anyone, but especially FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS as he worked very hard to teach us the ins and outs of home buying, and he was sure to explain to us many different factors that we had not considered (both in what to watch out for, things to inspect, and the purchasing process). Doug was always very responsive, and made himself very available to look at new houses as they came up. Doug made buying our first house an enjoyable experience and we felt informed, confident, and supported the whole way through - including even after all things closed Doug continued to check in and provide support. We cannot recommend Doug enough and are sooooo grateful for his patience and perseverance with us as we are now in our absolute dream house!
