★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a special drive out there as I knew they always get their seasonal stuff out earlier than the other dollar stores around however when I went to buy the Halloween glass skull jars that were priced at $2.50 but at the till they were ringing up at $3,(one of the jars I was getting ended up breaking as the lead came off and it smashed to the ground and I was kneeling in broken glass for 3 minutes until someone arrived with a broken broom and dustpan to clean up the broken glass) they would not honor the scanning code of practice( meaning they have to give you one of the items free and the other ones at the sticker price for $2.50) and I ended up leaving extremely upset and frustrated that I made the special drive out there and I couldn't get the items that I wanted to get. I will not recommend this store to anyone again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dollarama is a great place to go if you are looking for something that you can grab quickly and for a low price. Everything is shelved nicely and in very good order (see picture below). The only downside is that their products do not last super long as they are not the highest quality of materials. They do still work but they just may take less wear and tear to be rendered broken. It is very useful for finding things that you need temporarily though and it ranges from commonly needed household items to craft supplies to children's toys. It is always fun to see what you can find because there are many unique gems hidden throughout the store and a lot of good deals. They also have been doing very well on their Covid protocols although sometimes it is a little unclear which door you are supposed to enter through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friend entered the store. I was wearing a mask and my friend has his mask on his chin since he was driving to the store. An employee asked him to wear his mask which he did politely. Surprisingly enough, the employee wasn’t wearing the mask himself so we politely asked him to wear his mask too. He literally called security and asked us to leave the store because apparently we can’t tell him that he’s not wearing a mask. Horrible shopping experience. 0 customer service. The employee is a tall male. Management is advised to look into the matter. Thank you.
