Dog Off-Leash Area

A big field and nice dogs. 3 stars because it’s just a big field. No trees or water or anything interesting in the off leash area. 2 stars because of hazards that need to be fixed: deep holes with large jagged rocks inside, look designed for breaking legs.

The best off leash park near Langley. There is normal off leash park near the parking lot. But when you get into the other section through the short trail, the best off leash area is on the hill. You can enjoy the green trail with your hairy friend.

Great area to bring your trained pups for some off leash walking and exploring. There's the dog park as well as a fenced area Further into the park where your pups can run freely

Park itself is great. I gave 3 stars because of some dog owners. I just wanted to share my experience at the park with other dog owner and wanted to warn some people about the atmosphere. I think some people really need to come to the dog park with open mind. My husband and I usually take our dog to this park once or twice a week to socialize. We decided to go today as well. We have a lab almost 2years old. He is a big boy very friendly and quiet. He gets very excited and he tends to jump up and say hello to everyone. We always let people know a head of time so they can control the situation or turn around on him. While we were there our dog was going around and saying Hi to everyone. One of the dog owner really lost it and he said we need to control our dog and he shouldn’t be at the dog park. Apparently our dog is very wild which is so not true. My husband and I were very unhappy with the experience. He said he will report us to the labs saying we don’t have control over our dog. Luckily there were other dog owners who were able to take a stand with us and totally disagreed with him. In my opinion, some people really need to be open minded when they are at the dog park. It is a common sense if you are at the dog park, dogs will get excited and tend to jump on you. So what if the dog decided to lick your face? So what if you got his saliva on you? Get over it. It a freakin dog. He is still a baby and learning. #1 if you can’t handle dogs playing around you and jumping around maybe you shouldn’t be at the dog park. You need to give dogs a break they are in their space and they need to play. #2 if you own a small dog maybe you should be in the small dog area instead of coming to the big dog area. If you decided to be in a big dog area then don’t complain.

Big and bright, always awesome dogs there to play with! Nice it has a big and small section for those that care, and running water on the other side to fill bowls. My dogs always have a blast here and come home tired!

Nice park but a few problems. The water has been off for 2 weeks, for maintenance the sign says . I you want water for your dog the creek in the adjoining park is the only option. The gate latches are a hazard, I have a black thumb nail as a result of trying to open a gate with one hand while holding my dogs leash with the other. This is a nice park but it is being neglected by the maintenance department.

Impressive size, water, an outhouse, double gates, small dog area, fenced in trail (not super long but still really nice), 2 large field areas (the second one requires stairs). I moved out of town for 8 years and was pleasantly surprised at how the park has not only been well maintained, but also improved!! Very impressed!

One of the best spots around. Huge off leash space to run your dog and usually a great crowd of people and other dogs. Multiple different areas to explore with your pooch too. Highly recommend. Also there is a washroom onsite.
