★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect Beach area for you pup to run and swim. If the tide is out dog area is great size. Parking isn't great but as to be expected for a beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blackie Spit off leash dog park is a very nice place to take your pet.
It is fenced and secure with plenty of room for your pet to run and socialize with other dogs in the park.
When in the park you are able to observe your dog from almost any point with the exception of small areas of forest where they can disappear from site.
In my experience at the park, the dogs are all well behaved and the owners are very social.
