Dog Dayz is an impeccably run business. The thought and care put into their facility gives me comfort knowing it's a safe place for my dogs to be. I appreciate that they take the time to assess existing and future clients. Sometimes this means certain dogs aren't admitted, but it shows that Dog Dayz puts everyone's well-being above a potential sale. Their facility is clean, the grooming has always been excellent. Her manager Charlene is always engaged to deliver great customer (and doggie) experiences. Most importantly, the owner clearly cares about the well-being of dogs, the education and assistance of their owners, her staff, and is an ally in her community.

My dog has been going to Dog Days since she was 6 months old. She’s over 6 years old now and she still gets excited to go. The staff and care are first rate. We also get great value from the grooming and expert insights if something is going on with our pet. Absolutely love this place!

My dog Eve has been going to the half day daycare since she was 4 months old and she’ll probably continue to go here for the rest of her life, honestly. I can’t recommend this daycare enough, especially to my clients as I also work in an animal care industry. The rates are extremely reasonable (they don’t nickel & dime you!!!!), the staff clearly make my dog (and the others) feel loved and cared for, and I feel at ease dropping her off - she doesn’t even look back at me when I drop her off because she is so excited! Socializing your dog is so important, especially in this COVID restricted world, and I feel like Eve wouldn’t be the same if she didn’t start going to the daycare. The pictures they post on their Facebook page is always my favourite part of the day, even on the days when my dog isn’t there. All the dogs are so happy and that makes me happy.

While I haven't brought my dog to this facility, after my encounter with the owner publicly in the parking lot, I probably never would. What could have been a very gentle flag for parking in the wrong spot, immediately became an explosive bombardment of insults and aggression. The owner chased me down in the parking lot with arms flailing in front of her own customers. If this is how a business owner behaves in front of her own establishment dealing with people (not to mention, locals within the neighborhood), I would hate to see what happens behind closed doors. There is great power in kindness. In response to the comment below: Asking to remain parked does not give someone the right to scream profanities and insults at me over and over again. I made a quick, innocent and mindless mistake - but we are all people and should treat each other with respect. Your staff members aggressive body language, attitude and verbiage was disproportionate to the situation.

My dog loves it here. She always seems very happy and seeing her pictures on their Facebook page always puts my mind at ease. She had to get used to being around dogs again after moving to Ottawa (just prior to the pandemic, and not meeting any for nearly a year) but she does well here. Thank you!

They are such an amazing facility! A hidden gem for sure. The owner so kind and always gives me a run down on how the day went at pick up. Just be sure to book ahead because spaces fill up quickly. So happy I was referred. If you are looking for a place for you pup to make new friends, and burn energy, this is the place for you! I have a small Chihuahua and they go out of their way to keep her safe while assuring her safe playtime. She always comes home happy.

Tried to sign my 5 month old Canary Mastiff up for doggy day care but apparently this facility does not take in "power" breeds. When looking through their website it does not state this anywhere and even has pictures of a few of them. This was a complete waste of my time. I filled out all the necessary paperwork stating that my dog is in training and has been properly socialized with no aggressive behaviour to show. Yet because of her breed she wasn't even looked at. I would suggest anyone with a high strung dog or big dog in general (ie. German Shepard, Boxer, St. Bernard, etc..) do not trust this place to keep your dog. If they aren't confident to have a 5 month old mastiff in their facility, then I would doubt their competence. Mastiffs are a very calm and docile breed and anyone in the dog business should know that.
