Best Dog park in Canada

K	Karen Holman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love Sun-Oka Provincial Park, especially in the off-season! I can usually allow my mini-Aussies to check things out off-leash without a hassle. The younger dog gets to do his crazies (run ahead, then spin out, return at a gallop, skid to a stop for a treat. Repeat, etc.?) The elder girl and I avoid being bumper-car recipients, and wander at a slower pace. A couple of times larger dogs have scared and chased my young guy, so we're always checking our peripheries for other canines. However, it's important that the newer dog does get the opportunity to experience various 'social' settings, like at this park.
K	Karen Lau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many rocks on this part of the beach unsafe for dog feet and a couple of visiting dogs had no recall or manners! Will not stop here again.
G	Gadjet Ramjet on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fenced area to keep the non-pet endowed humans out! Generally a few dogs, not very busy, sandy beach, room to run, dig and swim for hours! A couple of places for the humans to sit and hang out and teach them to socialize. You can let the humans off leach here in the fenced area. Or leash them and take them for a long walk along the beach, (they like that!) In the off season you can go to the large park beside it if your humans need some throwing exercise (they like that too!) Oh, and have your human bring treats, ...for all of us!.
D	Deborah Martinez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always nice to take pup for a cool walk in the water. It does need attention however. A lady tried to use poop bags but it was empty. They could use another trash bin on the far side of the beach.

L	Lyndsay Brennan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars!! What a great option for dogs in such a hot climate like Summerland! It's always clean and it's a nice sandy beach! We went every morning in the middle of our jog with the pups.
