★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can hardly get hold on to the lawyer. You thought they were at least working for you on your closing day? No. You just kept waiting until you passed the deadline. Missing files and deadlines. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend Wong and Doerksen Law Office. I went to see one of the lawyers regarding drafting a Power of Attorney and I received excellent service! The lawyer was very knowledgeable and everything was explained to me clearly so that I could understand all of the legal terms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were Larry's client for a closing, Larry's assistant gave us quite a last min (right before closing date) surprise and told us our new property cannot be closed because of a clause in our mortgage. We end up having to change solicitor, and Larry want to charge us for fees that already occurred. We closed it with someone else. I can't say it was pleasant. Oh and Larry wanted to introduce me to his connections in Hongkong so they can take care of the last min surprises..... needless to say, for more money and fees.

She is holding money of ours in a trust and has:
A.) Lost our file
B.) Scheduled so far into the future.
C.) Rescheduled our appointment last minute without notifying appointment attendees
We need funds released!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a house in Dec 2020, Larry did the paperwork for me, and he retired not long after that. It's been a year since the purchase of my house, as of today, I still haven't received the registered title of my property, it usually only takes a couple of months. I called the office many times, asking what is going on with my case, every time I was told that they will check and call me back, however, nobody ever called me so far, and I'm not sure if my purchase transaction is really completed or not. It's very disappointing, and I'll submit a complaint to BC Law Society.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partner and I recently closed on a condo sale and purchase. Joanna Lee represented us and did an excellent job. All paperwork and documentation was completed on arrival. Through the signing process Joanna carefully walked us through and explained each document, and also answered all of our questions. A great closing on what was a stressful real estate experience in the crazy Victoria market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the original partners of Wong and Doerksen left the firm. Everything is unprofessional. My last real estate transaction there were several errors (which I discovered moments before closing), requesting legal documents has taken months, My phone call and emails have long delays to no responses and had to chase down the current lawyer Joanna Lee and staff. Larry Wong has been my lawyer since he start this firm (30 yrs) and service was professional, correct and timely. I have left this firm. I am letting people know this is my experience and that I do not trust the legal service of Joanna Lee.
