★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to DLH to send an internatial package. asked before I send the item if it was ok to send an old used mobile phone( cellphone). They say it was ok as long it was old and used. proceeded with the sending process and paid $185CAD.
The item was send and arrived to the destination country. Received an email saying that the item I have shipped was a prohibited item and was going to be return to Canada.
My item was put in hold due to missing duty taxes coming into Canada. contacted DHL and was told to the no duty taxes needed to be pay because it was a return item and that when the item arrived, I was going to get my refund of the $186CAD.
I received the item and called DHL back and was told that I will not be getting any return back due the error was made by myself when I send the package... I explained that before I send the item, I asked if there was any problem sending such item I they told me it was ok.... They told me that it is too bad but there is nothing they can do and no refunds can be process.
It feel like an scam and took $186CAD just like that during this hard financial times.
