Otherworldly. A must see! The diversity of the Albertan landscape never fails to amaze. Also, kudos to the interpretative staff for an impressive show at the campground amphitheate. Who would have thought erosion would be so entertaining?

Dinosaur campground is one of a kind! This world heritage site is truly remarkable. If you love geology, paleontology, or feeling like you’re on another planet, this is the campground for you. There are staff on site, with a little store for ice, treats and souvenirs. A small 3 km loop will lead you to multiple contained dig sites with dinosaur fossils. Endless hiking and biking trails, I highly recommend visiting this campground. During my stay I encountered a scorpion, and stumbled upon an undiscovered fossil.

There are many campgrounds in Alberta, but few are as special as Dinosaur Park Campground! Located right in Dinosaur Provincial Park you have the badlands and unique hiking trails just a short walk away. My favourite trail was the trail of the Fossil Hunters. There are many camp spots to choose from for tents and RVs. There are also washrooms with showers. The campground is shaded with large cottonwood trees but there is not much privacy between camp spots.

Haven't tent camped in years. It was fine for a long weekend. We had tent sites 113 and 112. They were way too close to the outhouses. Thankfully we had both units booked so we could put our tent as far away from the outhouse. In the evening it was fine but during the day in August is was stinky. Our friends thankfully had a few comfort camping units booked so we hung out there more. The campground has running water washrooms with coin operated showers at the main building. The showers are very small (even just for a single person). The running water washrooms are also only open during certain hours so make note of that if that's your preference. There is a convenient store there. And they often had large sprinklers going during the day at vacant camp sites that the kids would run through.

Absolutely beautiful campground. You can go up the Badlands for a hike. Magnificent sunset. Not much trees in the site so bring a sun shelter. I was bit windy when we went too. So make sure you peg down your tents properly. No signal either but you can go for a quick drive at the day use area if you really need it.

The campground is nice. Not the best privacy because of the environment but decent considering. Campground is pretty equipped, showers, a store, playground and fun shows. They were put of sunscreen which was saaaad for us because it was a zillion degrees but its worth it for the whole badlands deal if you want to go! Would definitely recommend. Bring sunscreen and bugspray plus ac in the trailer is a good call if you've got it.

Very cool campground, right next to the hoodoos with many trails. A UNESCO heritage site. Family friendly with a playground, creek and access to Red Deer River for swimming and playing. There is a concession with limited hot and cold food and supplies. Showers are 1 loonie for 2 minutes.
