The florist that worked this place Saturday was over the top in exuberance and professionalism. I went in for an arrangement and left with experiencing an incredible caring, blessed soul that I'll never forget! I will most certainly be back ... flowers are one thing but how it was done here, the passion .... if you get a chance, experience it for yourself!

What a wonderful experience I had with Cathy's Florist. I was ordering from a great distance , to send a gift basket to Wasaga. I didn't know quite what I wanted.They were extremely helpful, and friendly, it was such a pleasure dealing with them. I would highly recommend them, and I will always give them any future orders I need to have done. The recipient called me when she received it and was absolutely thrilled. She couldn't stop thanking me enough. I was overjoyed. Thank you Cathy's, you really came through for me.

Amazing place bought a bouquet that turned out amazing along with this little Ford Truck with succulents. Loved both and definitely will be back. The owner Veronica is very friendly and had my order done quickly!

After spending much time deciding what to order for my friend as a congratulations for her impending wedding, I decided on a bouquet called "Arrive in Style" because of it's sophisticated arrangement that suited the occasion. They called me the afternoon of delivery asking if they could make a substitution for the white lilies in my chosen arrangement. I asked to be texted a picture of the new arrangement for approval but was told that their phone was "too old" to send pictures. They did say they could email me one after-the-fact. They assured me that it looked wonderful and as I was at the hospital with my dying mother-in-law I trusted their professional discretion. When I finally viewed what had been sent to my dear friend I was SO DISAPPOINTED. While the flowers looked fresh, the arrangement looked nothing like the one that I had ordered. It looked like a bunch of mums from the grocery store with some roses stuck in it. When my friend later texted me a pic of the the arrangement, it looked totally different than the picture Cathy's had sent me - the bunch of mums were obviously on the other side.... so the bouquet wasn't even equally oriented. My friend said she would be putting it out by her wedding cake. How I wish the bouquet I actually ordered would be the one placed in such a place of honour. Of the five varieties of flowers that were supposed to be in the bouquet I ordered, only three of them were in the one that arrived. They never responded when I pointed out the statice, as well as the lilies, was also missing from the bouquet. When I voiced my disappointment, they only justified their choice of flowers and the fact that no one who works there apparently has a phone that can text pictures. I guess they knew my reaction would be "no" to their idea of an equal value substitution - I mean how could no one there be able to text a picture? They offered no restitution to either myself or the bride-to-be. ....Just a sorry, that's the way it is. Edit after reply from the owner: Their response is basically the same response I got from the owner when I contacted them directly prior to this review. As you can see from the pictures, the two bouquets are NOT similar. And I was not told of the missing statice, nor is it accounted for in their response either here or in their emails with me. What Cathy's Flowers is particularly good at is politely disregarding customer concerns as can be seen by reading this and other reviews. Unfortunately trying to support a local small business does not always pay off.

I ordered the birthday cake bouquet. I knew the flowers had to be substituted however there are not many birthday cakes with ferns or leafs popping out of them. What was supposed to look like a birthday cake ended up being a floral bouquet with candles. Having said that, the recipient loved it.

Thank you Katherine and Veronica for creating such a beautiful flower arrangement for my very special sister in law. It's always a challenge when ordering from out of town, but I left it in their hands to create something special and they did not disappoint. They were so pleasant to deal with over the phone and they put my mind at ease. Thank you so very much. I highly recommend your shop. Lee

I live out of town and wanted to order an arrangement for someone very dear to me for Christmas who lives in Wasaga Beach. I chose Cathy’s Flower and Gift Boutique because they were an independent flower shop and I always like to support small business owners. From the moment they answered the phone I felt immediately as if they were listening to my words as far as what I was looking for. I told them which bouquet I was thinking about ordering, there was several suggestions which I really appreciated . This is one of their busiest times of year and yet they took the time to answer all my questions and even chat a little. The arrangement arrived at the destination when they said it would and the person who I sent it to could not stop saying how beautiful it was, all the flowers were fresh and in great shape, the arrangement was spectacular. I could tell from chatting with her that this arrangement had really made her day ?. Thank you so much Cathy’s Flower shop for such a great experience.
