★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought a beautiful completely custom dining room and a kitchen set with Dinec, which is part of the BDM group through Luxe Funiture in Ottawa that has now closed. For this reason, I contacted Dinec directly concerning and abnormal and unacceptable wear on the fabric on the kitchen set after only five years. Having worked for one of the largest fabric weaving manufacturers in North America, I know that this type of fabric is put through rigorous testing and should last much longer than five years. For this reason, I thought that contacting them would solve the problem, but they have refused my claim after several emails back and forth. For this reason, I gave them a ranking of 1 since they do not warranty their product. The textile manufacturers offer a great warranty against pilling. I would not recommend purchasing from Dinec or other members of this group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We furnished our dining room with Dinec furniture. The chairs we purchased have a seat height of 17-18", while Dinec specifications for that model chair (model 367) is 19 3/4". We contacted Dinec seeking suggestions for what we could purchase (at our expense) to increase the seat height to make our chairs more comfortable while dining. It has been nearly 6 weeks and no response. Incredibly disappointing that the chairs weren't manufactured according to specifications and that Dinec can't be bothered to provide any sort of customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We paid $5,000.00 + for a medium sized kitchen table and chairs. Not a good decision on our part! We rarely ate at or sat at this end of our kitchen. The table immediately had mar marks into the top deep enough to show the poor quality of wood below!
When confronted with a need for help from the expensive manufacturer of this set, Dinec out of Ontario Canada, they said the retailer had to help us. The retailer wanted to be PAID sir all services! I explained this to Dinec “customer service” and they sent us a 1/2 oz of coloring in a bottle… Very expensive furniture with ZERO support from Dinec… POOR SERVICE
