I understand that the cost of living is higher in BC than Ontario but cannot justify why this place literally charges double the price! A chicken roti runs you approximately $10 in Toronto but a whopping $20 here! I don't think it's a supply/demand thing as there are not a whole lot of West Indians here. Other than that the food tastes pretty good.

Service was so warm and friendly. Server/cashier gave me the recommendation of the oxtail so I got that. It was really good and the large was filling. Good amount of meat with rice and bread with a coleslaw as well. Server offered me hot sauce with a warning and make sure you heed the warning, it is quite spicy! I don't live in the area but will dine here when in the area next!

So happy I finally tried Di Reggae Cafe! I was pleasantly surprised to see every classic Jamaican dish on their menu. I tried the ackee & salt fish, and although slightly different every where you go, the flavour and texture was spot on. Not too tender (a lot of places over cook it), it was just perfect! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. Bless

A place to get the taste and the vibe of Jamaica. Love their Caribbean dishes. Spicy Jamaican patties are my best go to and If I want a rice dish it is either curry chicken or oxtail or jerk chicken or settle for a chicken roti. Love this restaurant and love their food it is always taste and satisfying. The people are always friendly.

I love to explore different cuisine as am a foodie. This time I saw this Jamaican restaurant and thought of having food here. It's a small Cafe but the food is very tasty and authentic ?. We ordered everything veg. The veggie patty then Roti which comes with veggies inside and the size is large. It is a good portion for one person. Then we ordered veggie curry which comes with rice and beans which was also very tasty. The spice is very mild but you don't need more spice to that flavor. However, if you want it spicy ask for their hot sauce it can make you fly high ?. Wonderful service. I would come back and try some other dishes on their menu for sure.

Pretty good, but too expensive for what you get. Goat roti was tasty, but was pretty much 40% bone. Went ahead and ordered, assuming it was typical Toronto prices. There are absolutely no prices posted anywhere on the menu board in the place and none in the take out menu. $34 for a roti and 3 patties is pretty steep.

Awesome Jamaican restaurant! Had the jerk pork with rice and fried plantains along with a couple beef and chicken patties. Highly recommend the jerk pork. The meat falls off of the bone and just pops with flavor. Really tender and delicious. I would not have thought that I would like the fried plantains but, its a nice treat for this dish. Adds a nice sweetness. Jamaican patties were great. Love the flaky dough they used and the filling was awesome too. Definitely coming back to try their other dishes in the future!
