★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired DPD Granite to install a new countertop and entrance to my house. They were professional until I paid them, and it was all down hill from there. Two weeks after my new counter was installed, my brand new faucet broke. I reached out and it took over two weeks of following up to even get a response from them. They linked me to the manufacturer, who was frustrating beyond belief to deal with. After two months going back and fourth with the manufacturer, they sent me the wrong part. I ended up picking up a 2nd hand faucet to replace the junky one DPD provided. Dont expect any help from DPD after they've received your cheque. Their installers also poured their grout on my lawn, and put a brad nails through the face of my new cabinets, but the granite does look nice.

The communication was flawless. The workmanship is outstanding and the counter tops are nothing short of stunning. Don't waste your time shopping around and risking disappointment. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with Di Pietra was amazing. Each staff member that we dealt with along the way was friendly, professional and very helpful. The stone they had to choose from was beautiful and we had a hard time making our final decision. We are so pleased with what we did decide on and our kitchen is so much more than we thought it could be. I would highly recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice stone but awful customer service. Beware. They will take full payment and then postpone installation. Aug 20….. template measured
September 16…..counter installed. We discovered that the stove wouldn’t go into the hole as cut. We had to get in line, for them to repair their mistake.
September 28…..they cut the opening and shoved my stove in. Pressure on the glass top was so great that the stove had to be pulled out to protect the glass.
It took 4 more weeks (and this review) for them to come and grind the stone so that my stove will safely fit in the opening.
… it shouldn’t take a poor review, to get the job done properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are happy with the look of our countertops and the ease of ordering, but the measurement and installation process was not what we expected. The installers cut into the drywall without even notifying us of the issue. They gave us a cutting board for the trouble, but I still look at this area that is not quite right. We have other family who had no problem with their installation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used DPD in 2016 for a cottage build and were very pleased. When we were in a position to require stone for a fireplace surround and kitchen we immediately thought of them but sadly we were disappointed over and over again with their timeline promises (ok Covid was an issue), not bringing the entire order of stone for the installation even though it was from the same slab, their incorrect measurement-several times and then a careless installer put the stone in even though it was too short -to the extent that we were partially installed and not operational for over 3 months! It looks great now but sadly we would never use them again or recommend them after how we were treated, lack of communication and the installation issues. What makes me write this review now several months after our install is complete is reading all the reviews and being reminded of their refusal to acknowledge our issues but more so because of the tone and defensiveness of the owner’s responses to all reviews by unsatisfied customers. Very disrespectful, always needing to be right and telling the customer they are wrong. Nobody is perfect- not even you DPD. A little respect for your clients would be appreciated. Disappointing.
