N	Normand Legault on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While on the road from Edmonton to Quebec City with a large 5th-wheel trailer, one of the critical suspension brackets completely collapsed on the rear axle. We managed to make our way to Barrie and at about 4:00PM on the Friday before Thanksgiving weekend we gave a call to ABA Machine & Welding, hoping they could help us with the repair. On the Tuesday right after the long weekend, they greeted us as 7:30AM and started work right away. In no time, these guys had manufactured a replacement bracket (orders of magnitude better than the original) and welded it in place... then they spotted a broken leaf on the front axle's suspension. They found a leaf-pack builder for us in Barrie, we got the replacement, and they installed it right there and then. We were back on the road just after lunch with everything fixed, and for a very reasonable price (I'm thinking others might have been tempted to take advantage of our dire situation...). I must say I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism, proficiency, and eagerness to help us from everybody at ABA. Definitely a first-rate shop that clearly can handle just about anything, and in a friendly and courteous fashion to boot. Highly recommended.
J	Jeff Meades on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful business, a gentleman, whose name I'm struggling to remember (Matt?) went above and beyond to help fix a stripped commercial door handle for my uncle's restaurant. He bore out the stripped thread, put in and insert, locktited it, and smoothed the edge on it that was warped. He even used a press to successfully bend back a bent, very unique 3/8" bolt that the handle required for installation. I'm not sure how often they're looking for walk in customers, but this place you can trust will look after your machining needs.

Found ABA Welding on the web and took our rig there to see if they could do what we needed. They exceeded our expectations and improved on our design. We are thrilled. We have a frame attached mount for our winch. A hitch carrier, modified to carry our bicycles and various other items, and a bash plate under the van to protect our fresh water storage tank.
