I was very pleased with the service. Bob, the counterman was very professional, and explained everything they had to do to my motorhome. At the time of payment Bob went over every item and explained it to me. I was also impress that everytime they found a new problem they called me and explained what had to be done. Good work guys, and I would recommend Dewdney Automotive to anyone needing mechanical work done to their R.V.s.

By far the worst experience at a shop. Took my truck in to fix a power steering leak and they charged me 400 to change a line. Turned out it wasn’t even the problem. Took it back and they changed some clamps. Still fixed nothing and leak was still very prominent. I called a 3rd time and they offered me nothing. Incompetent mechanics who couldn’t even remedy a leak. Would not recommend to anyone.

DO NOT PATRONIZE!!! My car problems BEGAN after visiting Dewdney Auto. Recently brought a used (but running perfect) car in here for a safety check. They say everything is fine. Immediately as I'm driving away, it begins to shake violently when idling at red lights, even dying. I bring it back the next day and they say the spark plugs that "looked" fine yesterday are now shot and now FOUR need to be replaced. Funny coincidence eh? Why were my spark plugs working one day, then immediately after leaving Dewdney Auto, four of them are faulty, and need to be replaced immediately, or else my car would die? They then CHARGED ME $250 BUCKS TO CHANGE MY SPARK PLUGS. Also CHARGED ME $170 FOR A ~$40 Engine Torque Strut. Why was I charged $170.13 for a part that costs ~$40 No amount of shipping could account for that mark up. CONSUMER BEWARE!!

John saved me a 1500$ on a Fuel Pressure regulator by teaching me about fuel additives... My Diesel truck ran really bad, and after two tanks its like new! great service and honest !!! old school.... i would always recommend and go back!

John(owner/operator) is an honest person & good mechanic. He's worked on my families personal & business vehicles for 10 years. His prices are competitive & fair. He's super busy, so book well in advance if possible; that's the only issue.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I am a widow and I have had them as my mechanics for my vehicles for over 10 years. I have always found them honest, easy to talk to, much less than the dealers, and if there has been a problem after they repaired my vehicle they have fixed it quickly at no extra charge. They have even fixed a broken window wiper that broke when we had an ice storm on the fly while I was on my way to work. Different narratives from everyone, but they are my go to place.

I was in an emergency situation and John at the front desk was very understanding and quick to understand what was needed. I needed a few welds done and they had it done for me in 5 minutes. Wow thanks guys

I am a 65 yr old Senior and was recommended to come here by New Westminster Fuel Injection, for the installation of their New Fuel Injection Pump and Injectors on my 5.9 Cummins Pickup Truck. I had Dewdney Automotive install the Pump and Injectors and my truck lasted about 500 miles before the New Pump Failed and left me and my partner on the side of the road. We are both handicapped and I had my Pickup towed back to Dewdney Automotive and it sat there for 5 WEEK'S before it was fixed under THEIR WARRANTY. New Westminster Fuel Injection told me Dewdney Automotive put on the Wrong Fuel Pump and that is what blew the Injection Pump. I am a Senior and was left without my Pickup for 5 WEEK'S while Dewdney Automotive took their time, to repair it under THEIR WARRANTY. There is a Reason Dewdney does not have Courtesy Cars and are Not on Facebook. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP OR LIKE ME, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!.... UPDATE.. DECEMBER 2021.. 2,000 Km Later. I took my Truck to a repair shop, as my Cummins Diesel was not Idling Properly. And Guess What?? There were 2 bolts missing from the Intake Manifold which caused a Massive Boost Leak and this is after I had them Install My New Turbo that I ordered from the U.S. when the first appointment was completed.The Missing Bolts also hold the Injector Line's in place and that caused FOUR of my New Injectors to Leak Diesel Everywhere. Quote To Repair Dewdney's Mess, $1,400 plus. I spent close to $ 8,000 at my First Appointment, for This Horror Show!! Thank you Dean, at New Westminster Fuel Injection, lol For Recommending this Shop to me, As Their Go To Shop. Hire a Klown Kar Repair Shop like Dewdney and Expect a Circus!!! Well I Got One!!! Stay Away From This Shop, For The Second time!!
