Reasons I am disappointed with a Laurier kitchen; 1) we bought our kitchen June/July 2019 and final installation was only completed in early March 2020. - yes my husband and I did leave for two months in late Dec until mid Feb because, well, we thought our kitchen would be done. 2) we sent photos of poor craftmanship and received no response. 3) The kitchen in my old home easily supported raising a family with minimal issues for 11 years and the family before that had it for several years. Now in my new Laurier kitchen, it is just my husband and I and our Laurier kitchen has become a realized temporary kitchen. We were hoping to retire, but we will need to work longer to buy another kitchen. 4) No one is allowed in our Laurier kitchen but my husband and I. Company must ask us for a glass because it is so fragile. For example; Our microwave has caused distress on the shelf and my natural finger nail touched a drawer causing damage. 5) the counter cut of the island is very undesirable. 6) my fault, but I also wish designers were more aware of accessibility designs which we told them was very important. The island could have been made larger and perhaps offered more accessibility options. They simply didnt understand. 7) I am very embarrassed, sad and angry that I spent 22,000 on cheap fragile cabinets, poor design in a very tiny kitchen. 8) we have lost vacation time dealing with multiple visits because matching our cupboards was difficult from our original order. I actually have "spare" unmatching doors In my basement as "left overs"? I highly recommend choosing another company so your kitchen doesnt cause stress like ours did.

If you're looking for good customer care and quality long lasting cabinets.....LOOK ELSEWHERE. Our builder recommended Deslaurier to install our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and counters in our new build home. We choose a classic style white painted MDF door and drawer fronts. (Solid wood doors or thermo sealed doors were not an option at the time of our purchase.) Within the first month of ownership we quickly saw paint chips on the edges and corners of cabinets and drawer fronts. Within the first year we noticed swelling, bubbling and chipping on the cabinet and drawer fronts closest to water sources, especially near the kitchen sink, dishwasher and in all of the bathrooms. The water exposure to these cabinets was from normal use day-to-day water droplets as one would expect from washing dishes, unloading the dishwasher or washing your hands at the sink. As time went on the water damage only increased to the point that we are left with some very aesthetically unappealing and notably damaged door or drawer fronts. We contacted Deslaurier to see if they would assist us and address our concerns. They sent not one, but two different inspectors to our home on two different occasions, during a pandemic, only to tell us that their warranty doesn't cover " damage caused by water and wear and tear". The damage on our doors is not from "excessive water and moisture" the damage was caused from everyday normal use - not carlessless on our part. We take pride in our home and maintain and care for it as such, the damage on our cabinets is not the result of excess water and humidity, it's the result of a poorly built and designed product that should never have been installed in a kitchen or bathroom. All this to say we are extremely disappointed with Deslaurier in terms of quality of product and customer care. All they had to offer us was their "regrets". Meanwhile we are left with damaged cabinets that we will have to replace, elsewhere, at our own added expense.

Excellent Company, my son is employed by them and loves his new job. Beautiful cabinets and countertops built to perfection!!! SO IF YOUR EVER IN NEED OF CABINETS OR COUNTER TOPS they are the best around...
