Today, our herd consists of 80 quiet and easy to work with cows, that produce easy-calving bulls with respectable weight-gain ratings. This is maintained by immediately culling out any signs of health problems or maternal issues. The cows are very capable calvers, and we allow them to have their calves on their own in order to help the calves grow to become sound bulls or heifers. Any issues that may arise during our calving season are few and far between, thanks in part, to our use of cameras, which allow us to keep a close eye on our cows throughout our calving season, which begins at the beginning of March.
Our bulls are sold when they reach the age of two, which allows them to develop calm temperaments in their interaction with us, have structurally sound frames, and strong breeding performances.
