Brian walked me through a quick diagnosis over the phone and suggested I replace the thermostat. He didn't come over and charge me $$$ to tell me that, which he could have. Dart will be getting all of my HVAC business from here on in. Thank you for being honest and decent.
M	Mel S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The technicians initially installed a heat pump with no insulation...I was then concerned the unit was not working efficiently, or even a fire hazard based on the noise. Technicians (and owner) returned to inspect and insisted it was working and I just needed to let it run. It would shut on and off every 5 seconds. DART never returned my multiple calls of concern after that. Another local company inspected and immediately identified the unit was not appropriate for the load-bearing outlet and replaced the needful in the control panel (indeed a fire hazard and inefficient installation).

Brian came out and checked the old furnace, explained the difference in the new system over my 30 year old system, made suggestions that made sense and the rest is history. The new thermostat communicates with the heat pump and the furnace giving us constant comfortable heat in the winter and cooling in summer & fall. The new Keeprite system is far more economical than the old unit and very noticeable on the hydro bills . Thank you Brian and all your team for a great deal and a wonderful professional job. He assessed the problem and after some discussion we decided to replace our furnace which he indicated he was able to do the next day (Saturday). Brian quoted a very reasonable and competitive price, contacted his office to ensure he had the technicians to install and the parts necessary. He also arranged for a number of heaters to help keep our place warm until the new furnace was installed. The heaters arrived within an hour after his call. Brian and his team arrived at 8:30am on Saturday. Not only did they have our furnace installed within 3 hours, they cleaned up afterwards (you would never have known they were here). It was a pleasure to work with Dart Heating. Their knowledge and professionalism resolved a big problem quickly and also provided us with peace of mind. This is the second time we have used Dart Heating and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you to you Brian and to your amazing team.

I phoned them and asked them when they were coming they said it would probably be another 2 or 3 days before they can get over to fix it.
