Even if you’re horribly awkward in front of a camera and getting photos taken is your partners worst nightmare Darby is still able to get amazing natural shots that you’ll love. She does an amazing job capturing every special moment and smile and is great to work with. Highly recommend!

She has a special way of making you feel so comfortable being in front of the camera! She was also so flexible and accommodating as we navigated our postponement during the pandemic. Her photos are incredibly beautiful and she does an amazing job capturing candid moments! I highly recommend Darby!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had the best experience working with Darby for a maternity shoot in beautiful Whistler. Darby was so accommodating to our schedule and put so much thought into a location that would work, even changing plans on the day so that we would get a better spot when we had some unexpected snow! She was so friendly and made us feel relaxed immediately. We got the photos in a couple of weeks and absolutely love them! She captured us and the setting so perfectly. We’ll definitely be back to work with Darby again!

Darby is a little ninja behind the camera & so good with giving directions & making the day feel comfortable & relaxed. We received some sneak peak photos the day after our wedding so we could share with family & on the socials. We were blown away when we received all of our photos back, they turned out so good, we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Darby!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All I can say is wow! Darby was a dream to work with. She did both our engagement and wedding photos which we adored.
Her photography style captured the candid moments which was important to us and she gave us access to unique memories we didn't see on the day.
Darby is also incredibly easy to work with and adaptable. We were a pandemic couple so there was a lot of uncertainty around our plans, Darby made us feel listened to and supported amidst all the chaos. We were married during the heat wave of 43 degrees and she never complained once or had it damper her mood, adapted our shoot schedule to keep our guests safe from heat stroke, and magically made my husband and I not look like sweaty messes.
Absolute dream to work with and can't recommend her more highly. We will be reaching out for future big moments for sure!

She goes out of her way to find the perfect location for your special day and even takes you along for the scouting. Darby is always available for questions and trouble-shooting. It wasn't just how attentive and warm she was from our first contact, or how accommodating and understanding she was as we shifted our plans throughout the pandemic, it was from the minute we met her we felt like she just 'got us'. We wanted our day to be captured as truthfully and candidly as possible, and Darby delivered beyond our expectations.
On the day of, Darby walked in to our Hotel room and we immediately felt those 'day of' jitters disappear. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and helped us relax and enjoy ourselves as she captured the memories that we're so grateful to have for the rest of our lives.
