★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If this place was cheap i would have given it a better rating. Food wasn't great and took way to long even though the place was quiet. $50 for two barely-average meals and two Buds. Definitely not worth it. Staff really friendly.

The unrealistic prices for any of the Chinese food..then an hour wait for a cup of oily instant noodles fried as chowmein with scoop of Sweet n' Sour on a small plate..$22!!. and definitely not enough for even sharing. Perhaps stick with the burgers and fries?....what a shame, miss you LaVerne!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overlooking first appearances, as renovations seem to be underway, this is a great spot. We had the salmon and cod fish and chips. Both were excellent. It was cooked on the spot, lightly battered, with great fries. Also the coleslaw was tasty and it's made on-site. The folks were nice as well. Outdoor dog friendly seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious home grown zucchini and chips, fried very lightly which is tricky to do as zucchini can get soggy.
Very friendly proprietor. All food is made on premises, so orders can take a little longer than usual.
Coleslaw was unusually good as I'm not normally a fan of it.
