Best Italian restaurant in Canada

C	Chess Growth Media on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only word to Describe this restaurant is INCREDIBLE!! We had always heard about people driving hundreds of miles to eat here and now we know why. The service is top tier and the food is uf the highest caliber. . For those among my readers wondering what I had from the menu : Spinach Fettuccine with mixed vegetables in a roasted red pepper cream sauce e topped with Jumbo seared scallops and wild boar bacon!!!! It was one of the finest meals I've had all year!! This restaurant is a "Must Visit" location!!!

We had seen the restaurant a few times as we passed by, this time we stopped in to see if it was any good. We were seated and waited on immediately. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. We had garlic bread to start, my folks had dinner-portion salads whereas I had the soup of the day and linguine with ground beef, mushrooms, and onions in a cream sauce. The garlic bread was flat and fairly average. The soup was a tomato-cream based seafood soup which was served piping hot and was delicious, however was priced at $8 which is a little steep for soup. The linguine at $13 was a little more value priced, and tasted beautifully. My folks' salads were priced at $18. Excellent food, excellent service. However, the price will keep me from eating there regularly. The décor definitely leaves something to be desired, and the background music sounds like someone put a Zelda video game on pause.

I try to make a point of eating here every time I'm heading north... Or on the way back: there's nothing like a good plate of amazing pasta to bring one back to civilization after a while in the boonies.

I got a bowl of curry pasta and it did not come with bread. The bowl was over 25 dollars and no bread? We asked for a bun and they wanted three dollars each for a bun. I felt insulted when I was told how much a bun would be extra when the meal should have came with it in the first place. The pasta portion was not very generous. Our service was on the poor side. They have it so right for quality of food they just need to sort out their other issues and I would for certain give them a 5 star rating. Oops just realized I posted this before.

Amazing portions, pasta cooked just right, flavors are incredible and good selection of beverages/dessert. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. You get what you pay for! If you are ever in the area please visit.
L	L & J Design and Renovation on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We live 2 hours away from Danny's and would literally make this drive just to eat at this amazing pasta place! Luckily our cottage is only minutes away, so we regularly enjoy a great family meal here. The appetizers, (personal favourites include the escargot, caesar salad and mussels) are absolutely mouth watering. The pasta's (personal favourites include the salmon in a cream sauce and the curry) are to die for and leftovers always taste just as great the next day. There are always daily specials and although its always hard to sway from our favourite dishes, we have never ever been disappointed with any new dish we have ventured to try. There are many pasta options and the wonderful staff are always accommodating if there is a minor changes needed to your order. My family and I have eaten at many five star restaurants throughout the GTA, and by far there is no comparison to Danny's, the quality of food, generous portions, family atmosphere, amazing staff and FANTASTIC flavours in every dish, each meal is worth every penny! We would highly recommend eating at Danny's.
