Dancing With Carolyn!

My daughter has been taking classes at Dancing with Carolyn for eight years and loves it. Carolyn is one of the warmest and friendliest people I've ever met and her associate teachers have all been wonderful -- kind and gentle and incredibly patient with all of the students.

Many different classes for kids. Carolyn is very pleasant and helpful.

Carolyn is a caring and nurturing teacher! I would highly recommend!

awful experience to say the least. Our daughter had about a handful of classes there and each time everyone is completely maskless. Last weekend my husband and I were running late dropping off our daughter to class because of the construction going on at Bloor st. As we arrived we were blocked by the owner Carolyn and a male friend who were completely maskless but started to harass us on wearing a mask. I told her we were just dropping our daughter off and leaving but she kept at it. she then had to make a point that she was the owner. the woman is a bully and uses her little power to harass families. of course she de-enrolled my daughter from the ballet class, I didn't expect better from a bully. so now my family has to deal with the harassment we faced Saturday, alongside the emptiness my daughter will feel from being cancelled from the ballet class because the owner is too powerful. its a very sad situation and I want everyone to know the character of the owner Carolyn. I personally believe Carolyn is a racist and saw the only brown family not wearing masks (mind you everyone was maskless) to prey upon. How can someone expect behaviour from others if you yourself the owner is not following your own rules and then attacking minorities. when I first started dropping my daughter to classes there, we wore masks all the time until we realized no one else was following the rules so we slowly started drifting away from the masks. I think this whole situation could've been avoided if the owner handled it better by properly communicating. my daughter was not the first to deal with this and she definitely won't be the last.

Dancing with Carolyn offers fantastic classes with friendly teachers! We have been taking classes for the past 2 years- Carolyn has been professional and flexible with regards to all the covid pivots. The teachers are upbeat and my daughter always looks forward to her classes.

Our daughter has been attending Carolyn’s dance school for 3 years now, taking various types of classes in that time. Our experience has been wonderful and our daughter always looks forward to the Saturday ritual of dance class, followed by her pizza from the bakery across the street! The teachers are amazing (shoutout to Miss Alexa!) and Carolyn herself is the loveliest. There’s no question about how much she cares for her students and their experience. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves dancing here and Carolyn is always available to chat and answer questions. Speaking to the review where the parent was asked to wear a mask, Carolyn was very clear in an email and in person that masks were and are required for indoor classes, the church where classes are held requires masks to enter. When classes resumed in person I personally witnessed a couple parents arguing about this but the vast majority of kids were masked and I have absolutely no doubt that the safety of our children and Carolyn's staff is paramount for her. The main thing is the kids learn and have fun and every time a class ends my daughter asks to sign up for another.
