★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello Chad Griffin, Dan Hope the manager of RE/MAX (Mountain View) Country Hills office brought to my attention a review you posted on his site about an issue one of our realtors had, Pammi Brar, when he was trying to lock up the home you have listed with Purple Bricks which he had just showed to an interested parties. Just to clarify I own the brokerage not Dan Hope. It was unfortunate that the door leading into the basement malfunctioned and even though Pammi Brar and his client desperately tried multiple times to lock it they couldn't, the upstairs was securely locked. It was then that Pammi called your agent and after waiting a considerable time on hold was able to let them know his dilemma so they could send some one over to fix the lock. Mr.Brar had four other sellers waiting for him to show there houses of which he was now late but since he did all he could do he had to leave knowing that all had been notified. I can appreciate your concern about having a door not secure but under the circumstance Pammi Brar felt he could do no more then what he done done. When you spoke to Dan Hope he was attempting to explain what Pammi had done as i previously said but I feel it was not received or understood as it was intended. We would be pleased to meet you in person if you would like to discuss this further. I did look up your home on the MLS website and I was impressed as to how it showed, very attractive house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pammi Brar viewed my empty house in Calgary on behalf of Dan's brokerage. Pammi had trouble locking the back door so he called my listing agent who contacted me. After discussing solutions they spoke to Pammi Brar again who said he has left with better things to do and no plans to resolve the issue or make sure my property was secure.
To make matters worse I called and talked to Dan Hope the brokerage owner. First of all the secretary said she was Elizabeth. Dan said there was no Elizabeth only a Helen. What is happening? Anyways, Dan unapologetically felt Pammi needed to do what he had to. Dan felt his agents safety is of utmost concern which is entirely irrelevant. He also went on to say how experienced Pammi is as if that makes anything better. After skirting any responsibility I hung up realizing neither he, his agents and most importantly Dan Hope's brokerage understand what professionalism look like.
Beware if you are trusting this brokerage.
