★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Constable Scott Rowe TERRIBLY handled a very normal situation on a Sunday afternoon.
Someone slid off a road at a low speed, had someone there to help and tow him out. Then Constable Rowe arrived, and instead of offering help as would be warranted, stopped everything, told the driver to get out of the vehicle and come with him, put him in the back if his car and interrogated and intimidated him for an hour, insisted on calling a tow truck instead (that the driver had to pay for when he already had someone there towing him out) and ticketed him $280 for "undue care and attention" with absolutely zero cause to assume that. We will be filing a formal complaint and fighting the completely unjustified ticket.
This driver did not do anything illegal, has a flawless criminal and driving record, and did not deserve to be treated in this way, and there was no reason for the officer to be involved resulting in several hundered in unwarranted costs and absolutely no crime committed. Protect and serve? That would have been nice.
