Had ordered from Daiko before their naan was terrible. It was rubbery and I couldn’t even tear it. 4 stars for the steamed chicken momos. They were tasty and the cost was also fine. They forgot the momo sauce that was a disappointment as momos are mostly enjoyed with the sauce.

People must be either lying with their reviews or there’s something nefarious going on. The Food was bad, gave preference to delivery over those dining, don’t waste your money. Biryani was almost inedible - what was apparently onions tasted and smelled like red cardboard (not even exaggerating). Momos were tasty but small for the price and don’t get me started on the wait. The server was a nice guy, but didn’t write anything down, made mistakes, every table was complaining. There were only five tables in total over 2 hours. I gave more than one star because the server was the only one and I think was trying. Parkdale is a gem for cheap but good food, this was neither.

I have always wanted to try Himalayan/Nepalese foods! Lucky for me Groupon had a voucher special for $12 for $30 worth of food for two people and that’s how this journey began! Although it is also and Indian restaurant, it is a great introduction to Himalayan/Nepalese ?. A asked a fellow Yelp Elite to join me in this journey and she loved loved the experience as well. I believe what made it really great were the staff and ofcourse the delicious foods. We ordered: An exotic dish from the country of Himalayas, Khasi Ko Jhol (Goat stew on bone prepared in Nepali style), Chicken Momo (Typical Nepali style dumpling, steamed and served with tomato achar), Indian dish: Chicken Madras (Spicy chicken tempered with curry leaves, black pepper, and a touch of coconut cream), and an order famous Indian leavened bread with garlic and butter The momos was something I always wanted to try, some people just think dumplings and yes it is but who does not like ???? I’ll definitely be back! The madras was nice, twinge of sweetness from the coconut. The Ko Jhol was on the salty side but so good! Lots of flavour! If you have not tried Nepalese/Himalayan foodsβ€”do yourself a favour and GO! ?

Had a really bad experience and almost a health hazard I ordered takeout from Daiko Indian Kitchen( located inside another Indian restaurant Tadka) When i reached home i unpacked the food and put it in serving bowls. What I saw was worst experience. The rice box (thermocol) packing had melted from inside and mixed with the rice. This was a second bad experience with the same restaurant after which i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone foe or friend. In the experience before today, vegetarian food had mixed with non vegetarian food and was not even labeled. So overall really bad experience and cannot expect such restaurant to be operable after today’s incident.

Worst food ever. Order from uber eats and was very very disappointed with the quality of food. Order aaloo pararha that has no potatoes stuffed in it, should have been called empty or plain paratha and why the hell raita was sweet... It never supposed to be sweet and plus never send the spoons and plates which i specially mentioned. But nothing disappointed me more than this quality of food. Look the the pictures i have attached.. couldn't even eat whole paratha because it was not just empty , it was also too hard at the edge. These people should be ashamed of themselves for calling this even food. Ordered 5 and through away 3 and half, raita we barely touched.

Haven't had the chance to dine in, but take-out has always been good. We've had the chance to try something new each time and we've yet to have a dish we didn't like.

Daiko hi Tadka hai! IYKYK! This is our go-to for momos, and really whenever we're indecisive on where to eat! Just be careful with that delhi style hot sauce ;) Our order usually is: γ€° Tandoori Momo Vegetables γ€° Delhi Style Chicken Momos (my favourite) We've also tried the following, which is equally as delicious: γ€° Palak Paneer γ€° Paneer Tikka Masala γ€° Butter Chicken (so sooo good! it has the traditional creamy taste, not masala) γ€° Amritsari Kulcha Always fresh, ALWAYS consistent. ____________________________________________ Instagram | @6ixstreeteats
