Z	Zach Root on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner of the company tried doing the job instead of the normal guy I get(apperantly he hurt his hand) The owner of the company showed up in his smashed up vehicle missing his mirror.. and said it was because he "had a good night" Anyways. Totally unprofessional and mean. Did a bad job, un-even and very wavy... much worse than the normal guy. AND HE WANTED THE SAME AMOUNT AS NORMAL. I paid for it to be done right..

Finding a local certified arborist in White Rock or South Surrey is no easy task. I mean, I can find one from out of town willing to travel to White Rock and South Surrey, and maybe its just me, but I prefer to hire a company that knows my area, has a local reputation, and being a local company, I know they are able to come to my place much quicker than out-of-towners. I have gotten to know Doug on a personal level, and there is no one else I would want to care for my greenery than him and D & S Tree Care. Thanks for being awesome Doug!
C	Christine Manila on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He showed up the first day for an estimate but he was late, did not answer calls or texts for the actual service, we had to reschedule everything for him wasted everyone's time as well as my landlord who lives in North Van who had to commute over an hour and half, we gave him a third chance still did not show up.

The day was postponed twice, and one time delayed. In instances without notice. The price was revised. I take time off work to prepare the yard and accommodate D&S, build a framed protection around the garden - noone shows up. The phone is not answered. Eventually the arrangement has been cancelled and D&S fired. I received an implied threat and a follow up call with profanity. Had to go to the local police office and report. What an experience! Doug, maybe you know how to cut trees, but my suggestion would be to attend business classes: how to plan work, stay on the top, organize with customers, and very importantly, how to treat them. Proper planning, courtesy and dependability are just as important as a science behind chainsaw operation. Wishing you all the best, Jaroslav
L	Laila Barker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doug was late both days. The first day he arrived at 10:30 and the second at 11:30. He worked hard when we were home to supervise and nothing seemed to happen when we were at work. He did not listen to what we wanted and scalped our trees. He had his girlfriend over to lounge by our pool without our permission while he worked. When we questioned him he became belligerent and violent and called me a "f-ing b". He bullied our elderly neighbour and threw his water bottle across our yard when we asked him to leave. He expected payment that day and when we asked him to send us an invoice he threatened to put a lein on our house and sue us. We have not received an invoice and he has said he is taking us to court even though he has not provided a bill to us. This man is unstable and dangerous. Doug has an anger management and time management problem. Please take your business anywhere else.

Doug has also done tree removal for us .Happy with his work .He knows his profession and always gives good suggestions and advise .I recommend him highly . Doug is great to work with .Thanks Doug !

His crew was efficient and my hedges are the height and width I want. Clean work. I will definitely call Doug next year to maintain my yard. I would highly reccomend their services to any one.

Doug did not stay for the trimming and the guys he left completely removed some small trees they were not supposed to touch and WAY over trimmed the other ones. Then did not clean up any of the mess they left either. Branches wherever they dropped them. Spoke to Doug on the phone and he immediately got hostile. Terrible Experience. Would not recommend at all.
