★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in on Saturday afternoon. I have been meaning to do so for years. I work less than 2 blocks away, yet never made it. I was nearby on Saturday however and needed to purchase a number of things, probably adding up to around $1500. When I arrived the parking lot was empty. The store was open, so I parked and went to go inside, and that's when I saw the sign reading 'masks mandatory'. Now this was May 14. The mask mandate has been gone gone for a month.
I will not patronize a business that would dictate to me that I need to cover my face. Not a chance. I turned around and left. And I wont be back. I will also tell everyone I can about the crazies at DA Neils.
Fortunately everything they sell can be bought elsewhere or online. So I will do that.
I wanted to support local, but I will not be dictated to by petty fascists.
