★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called Scott regarding my newer hot water tank under warranty. Told him the LED status / issue and he immediately told me to check the vent outside. Of course the vent is blocked with snow. Got it clean off and I have hot water again. Highly recommended for his honesty and advice!

Scott was punctual, showed up ready to tackle the issue, he was very polite did the job in a timely manner and everything works great. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a few issues that I had been putting off due to Covid. I needed a water heater replacement, a tap replacement and a leak fixed. Scott showed up on time and went right to work. Within no time, I everything was repaired and I was back to normal. The prices are fair and he does quality work. I was surprised that he even cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate to use him again, and I would be totally comfortable recommending him to others who need a plumber.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great honest service! Scott provided a quick quote over the phone, did not have to make an appointment or charge me to provide quote. Once I confirmed to have him change out our hot water heater, he scheduled us in for the next morning. He was in and out within an hour and even repaired a leaky faucet too. He was affordable and true to his estimate. Thanks Scott!!

I had a difficult issue with a leaky shower. Scott was able to fix it and find some very hard-to-find parts. He procured backup parts in case the issue comes up again.
Scott also replaced several toilets for us and was very efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called for replacement of a kitchen sink faucet. Cuthbert plumbing quoted $250. The replacement took 15 minutes and to do the job faster Cuthbert plumbing cut the copper piping of the faucet being replaced without asking if it was OK for him to damage it for easy removal. We actually needed the old faucet for a friend, but now it was ruined. When my wife asked for the old faucet Cuthbert plumbing mentioned he was taking it to the garbage as it was not fit for use and just apologized. I called later and when I indicated i believe was overcharged because he unilaterally decided to do the job damaging the faucet, Cuthbert plumbing said I should have told him I wanted to reuse the faucet so it was my fault. I also asked why he did not left the old flexible hoses he indicated they were just garbage. In my view the service was overcharged and Cuthbert plumbing took some liberties without consulting the client just to make his job easier. Overall I will not use Cuthbert Services again and can not recommend others to do so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scott replaced an old toilet and bathroom faucet - both done very quickly and efficiently. The bathroom was left clean and tidy - no evidence at all that work had been done in there. He also checked a leaky exterior tap that wouldn't shut off - I thought it would need replacing but it was a simple, inexpensive fix. His recommendation on another exterior tap/indoor shut off valve also saved me money. His quiet, honest demeanor and 'just get at it' work ethic was a refreshing relief from a lot of other service providers these days.

He helped us pick out the right water softener option for our house, installed two new hot water tanks, repaired two leaking faucets and did so efficiently, on the scheduled day, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. He has glowing reviews, which was why we wanted to hire him and he didn't disappoint. The repair of our 2nd faucet wasn't even planned for in our quote (sink just started leaking two days before) and when mentioned to him, he fixed it quickly and at no additional charge. Excellent customer service! Thanks Scott!!!
