Great knowlegable people that greet you with a smile. These people know what they are doing..one does not stay in business this long without great customer service..not sure how long they have been around but I know I bought product from them 30 years ago..If major manufactures rely on them for warranty work, they must be good..

ATTENTION FORD RADIO CLOCK FLASHING, NO SOUND OWNERS !! Call Custone Electromotive and have Chris fix your radio. My Ford F-150 radio stopped working months ago. I drive highways a lot and not having hands free phone through the radio is a problem. I tried to find a used radio for my truck. There are none in Canada. Called numerous places in the GTA and no one had a clue how to fix my radio. Was told buy a new one. Ford wanted $825.00 plus installation Found Custone Electromotive while searching online for a fix. I called them and they said "bring it in , we see a lot of these". (Are you listening Ford?) Took my radio there at 11:30 and Chris had it fixed by 2:00. Works perfectly! Total bill $141.25. They are knowledgeable, efficient, honest and very reasonable with pricing. A pleasure to deal with. If I could give Custone a higher rating I would. Customer service and satisfaction was above and beyond! Thanks again Chris for your great work! That Uxbridge guy

The radio in my β€˜09 Highlander started stuttering and the dealership said I would need a new radio, around $1500. The guys at Custone took a look, hoping to fix it if possible or find a replacement from a wreckers. Instead they found only the DVD player (that I don’t use anymore) was not working, they unplugged it from the system and voila, sound system worked again! Thanks for finding the simple problem instead of an elaborate costly solutionβ€”made my day!

I have read several reviews about Richard (RIck) and he certainly is charming and says all the right things to get your money. I spent upwards of $8000 on car audio and installation only to have a really poorly sounding system at the end of the day. After a year of tolerating this and going back and forth with warranty issues, blown speakers etc. Rick stopped responding entirely leading me to source another vendor to finally rectify the issues. The new vendor provided pictures one of which I included in this post to show that my vehicle was not far off from catching fire through poorly connected amplification. The list of defects related to the install is as follows; charred terminal points on the subwoofer due to incorrect wiring, cross over installed in front of the car filter preventing the filter from ever being changed. charred terminal ends on the amplifiers, two $400 dollar speakers blown due to cross over wiring being incorrectly installed. The cost to correct the issues are a complete re-wire $500 +, installation of a car audio processor $850 (not part of original package offered by Rick however needed for modern head units), new 2.5" speakers in the front $300, labour and materials +++. I never post and usually accept my mistakes for poor dealer offerings however I thought it was prudent to educate the general public as the positive posts about Richard (Rick) are extremely misleading. Take your hi-end job to a vendor that cares as he certainly doesn't but he will tell you he does. Hope this helps the next guy.
