Nous ont revendu une machine à coudre usagée en mauvais état pour beaucoup trop cher. Deux fois ce qu'elle valait.
We resold a used sewing machine in poor condition for much too much. Twice what she was worth.

A great wholesale retail leather supplier with a large variety of leather. You'll typically need to buy the rolls/sides/bellies of leather, but it's more affordable than Tandy Leather Factory. No membership needed here. You'll find more coloured and lighter weight leathers at Cuir Boilard; whereas, Tandy will get you more natural vegetable tan leather and crafting leathers.

About 3 weeks ago, a friend referred me to this leather place. I picked up some scrap pieces of what I was told by someone at the shop to be genuine leather. I told the person who helped me that I had no knowledge of leather. I was going to experiment with the scrap leather since I had never worked with it before. A week later, I decided to get some of the "leather" scraps laser cut with my logo on it. To my surprise, the laser cutting company told me that they couldn't cut the "leather" I provided them because it was nylon, not leather and that the material would melt if they tried to cut it. I called cuir Boilard and spoke to the same person that had assisted me when I initially went there. I explained the situation to him and told him that I needed to exchange the initial purchase. He asked me to come to see him at the shop and we'll see about it. Today, I drove over an 1 hour and 30 minutes there. When I got there, before I even walked to the cutting table, the man looked at a lady and said to the lady that I was the person coming for an exchange. The lady looked at me and said that they do not do exchanges for scrap pieces. The man touched the "leather" and said yes, it was worked leather with a plastic coating. He did not tell me they do not exchange during the time of purchase. I did not know that there was a plastic coating on the scraps when I purchased it. I went there in good faith to exchange the scraps so I could use them for my logo tags. They could have simply exchanged the scraps in good faith just like I had went the in good faith. Really disappointed and I would not go back. Do not go there if you do not have knowledge of leather.

I recently went here looking for some leather swatches. They wouldn't even cut a tiny piece off of any of the hides for me to show a client. I looked around the dusty racks for about 10 more minutes before realizing that most of the stuff in here isn't even real leather. I consider myself to have a very good knowledge of leather so I tested the man helping me. I asked him if a particular piece was full grain and he said yes, when it was clearly coated on top with some sort of plastic. My advice is to not shop here unless you are confident that you know more about what you're talking about than the people working.

No-nonsense leather warehouse with really solid prices. They don't sell any tools or findings, but a BIG selection of suade, thick, dyed, and painted leathers at better prices than Tandy Leather (I know Tandy closed their Montreal location, but even with free shipping Cuir Boilard beats them out) Thick leathers at $1.75-4 a square foot, bulk bundles, and more. Ya gotta buy the whole sheet or roll, but yeah, damn good prices for the quality! As for buckles and D rings, not a big selection but pretty cheap for what ya get!
