Not impressed with this hotel that costs us $800 for a two night stay! We didn’t get into our room until 7pm due to staffing shortages. If you can’t keep up with cleaning rooms, don’t rent so many out! Complimentary snack/ drink tickets might have been a nice idea while we waited 4 hours on a scorching hot day! Our room was a suite and lovely. The cleaners were obviously rushed as there was a full garbage can in the kitchen and dirty towels in the bathroom vanity. Everything else was clean and comfortable. I was happy I brought my earplugs because the portable air conditioner was terribly noisy!!! I could still hear it with the plugs in! Hubby didn’t sleep well! Dinner in the dining room was very tasty and the waitstaff were great! Overpriced food but we figured that would happen. We were there for a car show and were not fond of the fact that we had to wait almost an hour for a taxi because the venue was not right beside the hotel like it was last year. Too far to walk, especially in a heatwave! Sadly, I’m pretty sure most of our club members won’t be using this hotel again.?

Oh my - if you ever get the chance, you need to treat yourself and stay at the Villas at Crown Isle. My wife and I were shocked at the size of the rooms. Clean, clean, clean - hot tub in the bedroom, fresh lovely coffee. When we get back to Comox we will stay here again, for sure!!!

Wow cant say enough. Awesome staff, very clean, and well kept. This will be our new home away from home. The Christmas stocking on the outside door was a really nice touch. Thank you well done. See you again soon.

Stayed here with a group for 3 days - booked through Golf Vancouver Island. Will never come back or recommend this resort or golf course to anyone. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with at any course, and I've played at 100+ courses all over North America. You're much better off going to Campbell River or Storey Creek (there's also other courses nearby I haven't tried).

Cant speak for the course but the pro shop staff was rude. Called to book a tee time further out in the summer as an out of province guest (most courses allow advance tee time bookings so people can plan trips). When I asked to book, he said the advance booking is 20 days, and when I asked if there is a longer period for people flying in from out of province for a trip, he said we ESPECIALLY dont book longer for out of province guests. Makes a guy feel very welcome.

I stayed there for training. It is quite a distance from Downton Courtenay. I went there with a service dog and they only provided, limited options to book cleaning the room. They charged me 142 twice for for two sheets with dog hair? Cleaning services were awful didn't speak English... manager was worst extremely rude and obviously doesn't know the most basic things like how to wash sheets. Kitchen appliances are cheap, poorly equipped kitchen you can prepare a meal.Exhaust fan on installed incorrectly as well as light fixture in living room which shorted out. Took days for maintenance to attend and I had to show him how to fix both items. Suites are large but very noisy, furniture is sparse old and dated. All of the management and supervisors need to spend a weekend at a four seasons, this is extremely overpriced, grounds are not maintained either, constantly sweeping the floors due to the for needles and leaves being tracked in. They have removed all the carpets which also adds to the noise, you can hear everything and every footprint of the guests above. Stay at the Travelodge better everything and 1/4 the price. They need to clean house and find real hospitality management.

First time golfing at Crown Isle this week. Course was in excellent shape , especially considering we’ve had a cold winter. Drew at the pro shop was very friendly. Stopped for happy hour after and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Small rooms, could hear the TV in next room. Old fixtures in room. Bed was comfortable. Nice surrounding areas. Extra resort fee charge was a surprise and unnecessary. Overpriced overall resort cst. Restaurant was excellent. Would not stay here again.
