★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended the memorial service for my dear friend Jessie here. She had been a member of this congregation for a number of years before her tragic passing.
I myself am an avowed agnostic. I identify strongly with a science-based cosmological view of our reality/universe; philosophically am inclined to Stoicism and Humanism. As such I generally find great difficulty in reconciling my perspectives to the archaic views of the Abrahamic religions.
That bit aside this congregation and it's ministerial staff are wonderful people. They were open and loving to my friend Jessie in her final years as she struggled with a terminal illness. She considered them to be a second family and found much solace/fulfillment with them.
Her memorial service was a heartfelt, sincere and comforting tribute to a wonderful person. Thank you Crossroads Community Church for easing the pain of saying goodbye to loveliest Jessie Gustavson.
