We stayed here in tents for 4 nights over the Canada Day weekend in sites 25 & 26. The campground was awesome. Cleanest bathroom facilities I have ever seen in a campground and Camp Manager was very friendly!

This campground was amazing! Had a really good time. Manager was extremely nice to us and the campsite we stayed in was super private. The facilities were all very clean. Outhouse was amazing actually, very little smell. It’s just a short drive to Waterton Park and has wood and ice for sale on site. If we ever come back to Waterton again we will definitely be staying there. Highly recommend!

Washrooms were clean, showers where hot. Site was way too noisy for tents. Good place to go if you have a TV trailer. There wer two nice spots in the park. Won't stay here again. Best part was the friendly staff, the friendly cows and horses across the highway.

If your plans include visiting Waterton and other nearby tourist spots is a great place to stay. Is super close from Waterton, pet friendly, neat views from the mountains, has free wifi, power, water, sewer available in certain spots, fire pits, picnic tables, tenting spots, well maintained outhouses, showers (4-9 pm) and laundry ($6). The very accomodating manager and staff keep it clean and are constantly checking around which makes it safe. Also it is closed at night so you can leave your stuff out safely. Office offers some toiletries, canned goods, rv supplies, ice and wood bundles available for sale. Lastly, it has a tiny little trail close to the creek for stretching your legs. BUT if your plan is mostly to stay in the campground this could be not your best option as it doesn't have trees, is close to the highway, if full you will have neighbors too close and it has an area under construction. Me and my family liked the place and will be back for sure if camping in that area.

Great spot just outside of Waterton. Good views of the mountains. We only started going here recently. Bring drinking water and all supplies needed. The store was limited but this could be because we went near the end of the season.

We spend 2 days in this campground. New owners put lots of effort to update this campground and as I had chat with Murray learned they will do more in future.. New showers, toilet and more tent sites will be arranged. We were at campsite #67, what was indeed quite close to the next camper and did not have trees and privacy however I have to point it out, I was lucky to score campsite before 3 days of September long weekend..( I am sure someone canceled) Pros: Very clean bathrooms, also shower, flush toilets on site. At night to get even to pit toilet lights are helping to get there, inside even pit toilet has lights..very organized. Also all campsite has invidual power outlet( don't forget your power cord) also invidual water access!! You can have fire even when lot's of campgrounds are forbid them these days!!! ( summer is crazy dry and tons of wildfires) Gated so quite secure, you get code to get in and out after hours. No parties and generators what we prefer..as we stayed in tent. Tents can be placed on grassy- soil area, much easier to put stakes in then gravel( you just have to be careful when it's raining) Owners are on site and very friendly. Dog friendly campground. We were happy with this campground and looking forward to visit again.

Overall, not a bad campground but not a place that is going to completely impress you as well. You can tell that an effort is being made to improve the place which is a good thing. However, the campground is way to crowded. Not a lot of space is provided to you and privacy is limited. I have more space living in inner city Calgary. No joke. Also, the shower house does not open until 9am. For early birds, that is a pain in the butt, as there were line ups in the morning for showers. General store on site only had ice and wood. The staff and fellow campers were all very friendly and easy going. I would say that this campground is sufficient for those campers who would spend most of their time off site (ie. Waterton National Park) and just need a spot to bed down for the night. If you are looking for a campground were you would spend most of your day at in peace and serenity, Crooked Creek may not be the spot for you.
