Beautiful trail. A but steep on some ends but the views are gorgeous throughout which makes the trail worth the workout

This is a pretty good hike. Starting from a rebuilt historical log chute, there is a bit of a scramble to get up to the crests. I was there in mid August and I think that in the fall, the views will be amazing.

The Crests of Kennisis Trail is an about 3KM in each direction trail running along the ridge line. The trail starts off very challenging with a steep climb up some wet rocks but moderates after that. It's still a challenging hike, not recommended for beginners. Hiking the trail rewards you with great views of the surrounding rolling hills as well as hidden ponds and streams among the forest. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Great trail. Some nice climbing spots and some crazy spots. And some incredible viewpoints. Bring lots of bug spray cause the mosquitoes were pretty intense at some points

Well marked challenging trail. Linear and about 5k. Loved the views and the climb. Definitely recommend

Awesome trail! There are essential 3 checkpoints after the trails starts at the Dam: the lake, the first viewpoint, and the second highest viewpoint. Be careful not to continue forward after that as you it connects to another much bigger trail. About 3.5 km one-way. A lot of inclines. But the view is worth it!

This is my second time hiking this beautiful trail. Clearly, there were fewer mosquitoes on my Autumn hike there, but still a great trail. Lots to see along the way. Lots of ups and downs. Trail is clean and well maintained, but still has a good feel of being deep in the woods. Amazing views from up over the treeline. It is listed as an out and back trail, but we parked a car at either end (1 at the Hawk Lake Log Chute, the 2nd at the trailhead for the Circuit of the 5 Viewpoints) so that we didn't have to go back and retrace our steps.

I managed the Crests Of Kennisis Trailhead today from Hawk Lake Log Chute but coming back down was a challenge. The rock face is very wet and a lot of mud involved. Slippery areas and could be very dangerous for some. Once up to the top some nice views. I'm surprised it's not closed off or warnings but all I seen was warning signs stating it's hunting season and to wear bright colors. Well I wished I had seen this notice before I started up. But overall very nice area.
