S	Scott Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ron and Cathy at the marina certainly make it much easier to visit the cottage, whether it is repairing/replacing a motor, renting some skis, filling up with gas/oil or simply grabbing a quick snack. We've also, on occasion, enjoyed the slalom course that Ron set up by Indian Head. It's been nice over the past few years to have stable ownership at the marina after too many years of being without.

P	Peter Elliott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently bought a 20 hp. Tohatsu motor from this Marina. The price was very competitive and the customer service was excellent. Using a credit card will cost you a little extra on a motor purchase (it costs them 4%) so if planning to use a debit card make sure your daily limit will cover the cost. Fortunately I had two with me so no problem and even if that did not work Ron was flexible enough to find another way. He explained clearly how to get it started, when to get it serviced and helped me load it in the trunk...a great experience.

B	Bob Warburton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently, arrived at 9:30 am on a Friday morning to buy some gas - I was in desperate need. Their posted hours show that they open at 9:00, however, there were no lights on in the store and no one was around. I called out and knocked on the front door of the store to no avail. There were some stone steps that led to a side door and knocked . It was a glass door and I looked inside and saw a man sitting at a desk. He looked over at me - I smiled and waved. He got up and walked over to the door and thought oh good, help has arrived. But no. He angrily grabbed a curtain and pulled it across the glass and left me standing there - gas can in hand. A few minutes later when I was back over at the pump fumbling futility with it hoping to somehow turn it on, this same person came out of the building - I said “ Hey bud I need some help, can I get some gas?” He then launched into angry profane diatribe about what a—hole I was for having dared to knock on his door! I was so dumb founded I was unable to my shock and disappointment at this turn of events. Happily the good folks at Oakview Lodge and Marina saved the day! I left a voice message on their main line about this shameful incident with my name and number but I have not heard a word. After 23 years of being a good customer, Hawk Lake Marina will never see a dime from me again!
