★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is of the tavern, not the hotel itself. This tavern is the local hot spot for the younger crowd. Staff were excellent. Locals wanted to talk and hang out. The food was excellent (incredible soup).
Features: Pinball, VLTs, large tables for parties, pool table, and a well-stocked bar.
Great spot to visit if you're interested in meeting people and having some fun. BTW: There is a tavern, hotel, liquor store, and restaurant in the same building. This review is for the tavern only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in after a failed camping trip and the potato bacon soup and Ruben sandwich were a great combo and a welcome warm meal. Service was great, very friendly and fast. Hopefully the next time I stop by it's under better circumstances.

Whether you want to have a couple of pints or maybe an expensive brandy this place really can just hit the best of both worlds. But maybe, just maybe perhaps the best feature of this quaint little gem is the special not so special, specials that they have.
