★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's awesome to have a hotpot restaurant in the NW. We've been wanting to try here and it was difficult to get a same day reservation but we luckily and finally did on a Sunday. The presentation of the food is better than it looks. I liked that they offered 3 kinds of soup option but none of them were spectacular. The original was flavorless, tomato was only sour and the spicy, was actually spicy with the chili peppers (the best of the 3 imo). Not much selection of food but it's easy to choose the platters to share. We spent $190 inclusive of tax and tips for 6 adults.
Deducting 2 stars because:
The restaurant is extremely hard to find. The parking in the complex is terrible. Because we were circling forever, we ended up in the co-op plaza where we finally saw the entrance of the restaurant. Therefore, the closest parking spots that aren't 20 min are behind Wendy's.
The restaurant is 2 levels with 6 tables on each floor. We were seated at the main level. The tables are surrounded by windows that have no coverings. It was very difficult to look at our family with the sun shining directly into our eyes. It was also super humid, not sure how well the HVAC was working.
And the chairs are hazardous! If you're sharing with another person, be very mindful of the weight balance when getting up because the other person will tilt and fall. There were 2 of us on different benches that almost fell off because the other person got up.
