Creative Klutter Quilt Shop - Irma

Tucked into every possible corner in this small shop, customers will be delighted with the variety of fabrics and notions available. They will also find crystals and essential oils (Young Living Oils). For seventeen years, Betty Ganie, the owner, has been in business in the same location. Betty knows her stuff and her customers. She is always open to new ideas. The shop carries a variety of quilter needs as well as many hand crafted home décor items, all created by Betty.

Creative Klutter quilt shop location has become home to a new quilting group “Quilting Buds” who meet the first Friday of each month. This group started off as a Block of the Month club but evolved into a larger group willing to share their current projects. It has become a group sharing their UFO’s, current projects and of course BOM projects. Presently the group is working on a Runner of the month project. Members also participate in creating finished products for charities.

Creative Klutter quilt shop has their charity offerings which have gone to the Broncos, Humboldt Saskatchewan, to the Mustard Seed, to the Stollery, and to MacDonald House Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta. This year local groups were answered by Creative Kluttter quilt shop and members of Quilting Buds made pillowcases, baby quilts and bags. A project designated for Stars has been the resourcing of quilting magazines.
