My sister and I love going to Create-It Emporium. It's so much fun picking out a peice and then choosing from the many colors and different styles of paints. You can even take your ceramic peice home to paint it if you are more comfortable with that. Then bring it back to get fired in the kiln. It's like Christmas every time I pick my ceramics. I will definitely be back.

My daughter had a great time painting and I was blown away by the staffs attentiveness, friendliness and charisma! Duncan helped us get started and even gave my daughter a tour of the kiln room when she said that she was curious. An amazing way to spend the day.

Overall a fun and adorable atmosphere to go with friends or family to have some special time! They also offer classes and private sessions for groups, the options can be discussed with the staff.
F	Flora on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful paint-your-own pottery shop! We love coming here whenever we have the time to sit down and paint quietly. The vibe inside the shop is cozy and quaint, with everything you need inside! I love the variety of beautiful glazes, especially the speckled varieties and the wide variety of unique pottery to paint. Parking is free and acrosd the street from the shop. Located inside downtown Coverdale. Food and Snacks are available for purchase at the counter. Cash and Card are accepted. Why it isn't a 5⭐️ This place is really DIY although I've never done a class here. As a total beginner, it was a bit disorienting to get started with the basic instructions by the employee at the front. Other than a sheet of instructions place at the table, it is all on you to figure it out. I also found the brushes to be quite beat down and roughed up already, so some of my painting was not as clean as I would have liked. For the price of the product I would have liked some nicer brushes that were being replaced regularly. The shop closes at 6PM everyday, which means we didn't get too much done each time we went unless we arrived in the early afternoon but that is my personal preference.

My only down fall is it's not very big so if you plan a large group phone in to besure they reserve seating and tables, otherwise great place.
