Really cool trail ! Dynamic hiking trail, with interesting boardwalks. Great piece of the Canadian shield!

Very nice trail, markers placed to show the trail are very helpful. Very soft to walk at most places.

The area itself is beautiful. The trails are poorly marked and we found ourselves so far off course that we had to escape onto a road and "hike" up March Road to get back to our cars. We attempted this trail twice and both times, the absence of markers resulted in some serious GPS consultation. To be clear, that's fine, but pulling phones out every five seconds when you're hiking with kids (three of whom are three-year-olds) spoils it a bit. The trail is seriously obstructed in some spots and navigating that with kids is tricky. The forest floor is lush and pleasant to walk on.

Really neat terrain, good wildlife spotting opportunities, well marked and maintained trail! And any good hiking-focussed trail options help to reduce conflict with other trail users elsewhere. As an XC skier I often wonder if the walkers wrecking designated/groomed skiing trails know about great walking options like this one. Keep an eye out for otters!

It's a nice little windy trail. There's some rocky roads, and some narrow boarded paths that make it interesting. It's difficult to hike through without tall waterproof boots because there are some paths that turn into a mini river in the fall and spring. Not sure whether I would've stepped in even if I had tall boots - you can't see the bottom. I happened to go on a fall day and it made for a very short hike because I had to turn back. A note about parking. It's side of the street parking only. The park is located right next to private property. The trail path leads to a gravel parking lot area, which doesn't always have signage denoting private property. When I mistakenly parked there once, a very angry lady came to tell me to leave, otherwise they would tow. I imagine it must be frustrating to have private property unfortunately located right at the opening of a public park. Within the park, it's also easy to trespass accidentally on private property. If the trail doesn't look rugged anymore - you're probably trespassing...

We really like this trail. The markers on the trees can be confusing at times but just remember that it goes in a big loop. We found having the map loaded in All Trails as you hike really helps to show where you are and where you need to go. Hiking boots recommended and be aware that some parts of the trail have lots of water so some back tracking may be required. We love it because it isn't busy and every time we go we see something new.

Good trail, beware of ticks. Loop at the end can be skipped for a 2hr hike.
