Crazy 8 Billiards & Lounge - Winnipeg

Welcome to Crazy 8 Billiards & Lounge!  My name is Alana Armstrong and I opened the doors to this fantastic new pool hall in December 2013. 

I must admit I’ve had a love affair with the game of pool since I was in high school.  It involves a unique balance between skill, execution and strategy that is appealing to both men and women of all ages.  I can remember many hours spent learning the game and enjoying time with friends and family around a pool table.  It is the perfect social activity allowing you to enjoy company all while strategizing your next move.  You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy the game and like many other sports, you get better the more you practice.

I’ve played with the CPA Pool League in Winnipeg for the past 14 years, played with the Aactive Pool League for 7 years and started the first location in Manitoba for CCS 6 years ago.  Having had a chance to play out of many locations, I wanted to create a place that was designed for the more serious player in mind.  Top priority at Crazy 8 Billiards is keeping the pool tables in excellent condition and creating a clean, fun atmosphere that anyone would feel comfortable playing in.

The menu we built is not your ordinary lounge menu either.  We still have the classics like nachos and wings but wanted to provide a full selection so you could have healthy choices as well.  We prepare most of our food right here in the kitchen;  we cut our own fries, the burger patties are made in house and the desserts are all done from scratch.  I have always felt that food tastes so much better when it’s fresh and I’m so pleased with the selection we’ve been able to offer.

Owning a restaurant has always been a small dream of mine BUT being able to join this with my passion for the game of pool is the perfect combination.  I personally invite you to come out to enjoy great food, relax in the atmosphere and discover your love of pool today!
