★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have rated CRAWFORD 5 stars but for the fact they are way behind in customer service. When it comes to what to get for your money i.e beauty of the home/loaded with a lot of features /options /upgrades /custom/flexibility vs the cost you pay, Crawford Homes is better than any builder in the city but when it comes to customer service and following up on issues that arise after move in, that is where we as well as a few people we know have frustrations with Crawford Homes. Up until now, we still have some unresolved issues (some we reported over and over within a year span ) and for those that were resolved, it took several repeated efforts of reaching out to get them to do something or anything.We actually met a few people who built with Crawford Homes before we started the building process and despite all loving their homes, saying they wouldn't have gone with a different builder looking at what they got and the money they paid (same with us now), they warned us about what we have encountered within the last year. This was and is still very frustrating.I don't understand how in this day and age, a company with over 20 years of building experience can't seem to step up their customer service standards particularly in a business which usually involves the biggest investment in most people's lives.

I gave them 3 stars due to the fact that I have issues with my driveway which is cracked in numerous places and disintegrating in less than a year. The Crawford representative stated it was due to lack of sealing. However, there are numerous other driveways on my street that have not been sealed and don't have this issue. I would recommend Crawford as a builder if I didn't have the driveway issue which I have been left to repair at my expense.

I built an infill house and they organized the entire project including the demolition of the existing house and clearing the lot to build my new home. The process was pretty seamless because they took care of everything. They delivered a beautiful house that was tailored to my lifestyle and my budget. I definitely would choose to build with them again in the future. I am so happy with my Crawford Home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: After much back and forth we finally received service for the repairs needed. My husband worked in trades so he was able to address issues in the home too. The quality of build is good but their service is terrible. I still stand behind my rating.
We moved into our new home in December 2020. We’ve had numerous conversations and emails back and forth with the builder with no response for service. Terrible customer service and outstanding deficiencies with the home. Roof leaking, windows with air leakage and a back deck that never got built. We are so disappointed with their service and quality. Due to their lack of professionalism in addressing our concerns and responding promptly to warranty issues we do not recommend this company. Go with a different builder!
