As a business in the early planning stages, Mica was respectful of our limited branding budget and understood that we needed to get the tone and direction right the first time around. When thinking about the most important qualities a designer can process, I ask myself the following questions: Can they take a concept that you have visualized and execute it to impeccable standards without compromising that vision? Can they take a partially formed idea and collaborate to create an inspired shared vision that elevates the entire concept? Can they take their own creative energies and complete a fully original concept that matches your brand identity perfectly without you providing any initial direction? Mica absolutely can and his ability to identify and intuit when each of these three scenarios applies is what has made him such a pleasure to work with over the last few years. Our brewery is much more than a business to us. It is an endeavour that blends our passions and interests to create beer, art, and stories we can be proud to share with others every day. We need a designer, like Mica, who understands the personal nature of a project like this and is able to meet us where we are to enhance and execute our vision every time.
