I ended up withdrawing and going to a different accountant but they still invoiced me the full price even though we never completed a return. They work mostly remotely/online. The head guy met with me in person, earned my trust and business, then delegated the actual work to someone in the back-office that I never met before to do it all online via their cloud portal. Even though I asked very specifically before agreeing to work with them that we work mostly in person.
