C	Cheryl Simpson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a patient of Dr. Crowe since I was 15yrs old, now 45. He is wonderful. He takes the time you need to answer any questions you have. He calls to follow up and report any issues with labs. The staff are accommodating to short appointments needed same day. I have never had a complaint about any staff/ associate doctors. The after hour walk in daily is an awesome bonus especially as a shift worker needing quick appointments for prescription refills and last last minute issues.
B	Bob McRae on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff and management are insulting and incompetent. Hour and a half waits beyond your booked appointment time are common. I once had to wait 3 hours for an appointment. I have had booked appointments cancelled without my knowledge. Once I was told by my doctor she didn't have much time for me because she was running late, as if it was my fault, not hers.! One receptionist even called me "Un-Canadian" for complaining about the overly long wait times. Recently, I received a letter informing me of the need to make an appointment before a certain date. The letter was written the day after that date and post marked 4 days later. This is the kind of attention to detail you can expect from these "professionals". I would say that a person is risking their health by dealing with the Courtenay Medical Clinic. I would change my health provider in an instant, if only I could. Update: It seems I will have to find a new health provider (a dubious proposition given the unwillingness of local doctors to take on new clients), as I have been banned from this clinic for posting this review.
c	cer514503 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give them zero I would but not in regards to the doctors. The staff is awful and sadly very rude and inconsiderate. They give off strong I don’t want to be here attitudes which is sad. I have witnessed them treat people pretty horribly.I have also witnessed them openly gossip about patients thinking they’re whispering but clearly not. You can try to call for an appointment but there is usually no answer.If you get a call back it is clear they don’t want you to call. . They will say they got a call and say it was from “someone” even when you stated your name and reason. Lastly they won’t even state the clinic they are calling from or that it is in fact a clinic just repeat their phone number and to call back.

He had the persistence and professionalism to diagnose a condition that so many other doctors had missed. He had the knowledge to properly investigate my condition and ensure I got timely referral and treatment. Thanks to him I am finally on the road to recovery! THANK YOU!
