★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived in the Valley for many years and could never find a great doctor. When we moved to Comox, Dr. Maria Smit arrived. As our previous doctor moved, was able to get in. She is the best doctor have ever seen. Clear, communicative, patient and listens so well. She graciously saw my older out of town mother in a crisis and she felt same thing. Have not had to use another doctor there yet I find the staff at clinic efficient, warm and the environment welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love my doctor here, but I have to say, something has to be done about the reception at this office. I've wasted so much of my time on hold, only to be left waiting on the line while it rings until I give in and hang up because nobody will answer. This happens during normal office hours, as well as outside of lunch hours. It's very frustrating, I hope something can be done about this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been seeing Dr. Benson for 15 years. I have received the best medical care imaginable for everything from depression to in-hospital gallbladder issues. Now at 68, I am so blessed to have a long time, caring Physician of such a high caliber.
Angie & her other Administration staff are extremely efficient, pleasant & caring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My parents and I had a great family doctor at this clinic who tragically passed away but we recently received a letter informing us that they will not be distributing their patients to other doctors or getting a new or temporary doctor.
It's unsettling that a clinic would terminate patients as it feels unethical when my parents are on medications (and seniors) that require the oversight of a family doctor.
We're also been with this clinic for over 30 years.
