I applied for capital one master card from Costco. I wanted to add my wife as a user on the same account as we share same Costco account too. The first customer service rep at Costco told that my wife can have her card on the same account when she comes next time to the store to take her photo. When she went there, the store told her that there is no application for her. I called capital one, they told me that I have to go to the store with my wife. Today we went together, and the store asked us to call the call center in India again. Very frustrating

I only use the Costco pharmacy because of the amazing dispensing fee and price of brand name medications. A couple of the pharmacists there were very helpful, and when I asked about a possible side effect I was experiencing, which they never heard of, they looked it up in their computer system. Other pharmacists there did not seem like they were interested in helping.

The price is right but customer service is lacking. The very frustrating part is often having to wait in line 15 or more minutes to pick up your prescription because there is only one cashier working, but there are 8 or so people working in the other section of the pharmacy. And extra-special is having to listen to the personal conversations of the hearing aid staff, as the pharmacy line-up passes the hearing aid counter, and the hearing aid are often not busy.

The only advantage Costco pharmacy has is its lower dispense fee but the pharmacy in Kanata is a real nightmare. On multiple occassions, some of my drugs were back ordered and no one told me anything even when I was picking up my order. I had to go to a shoppers drug mart which interestingly enough always had inventory. Also, they forgot to mention that since they didnt have the 50mg tablet they gave me 25mg and I had to take 2 instead of 1. Another time they forgot to submit the order to my insurance so I had to pay at counter and then go back on another line to get a refund. They were no help when my prescription came up for renewal and I had to do all the calls and follow ups myself. Another time they gave me only 1 of the orders because they forgot to process the rest. Overall, whatever you will save in fees you will lose in headaches, stress, hassle, line ups, explaining sth 10 times.

They keep losing my prescriptions, as an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic this makes for a headache the multiple times a year I run into the problem. My doctor used to argue with them about mine and her other patients who's prescriptions somehow disappear, now she just submits a new prescription with a huge number of refills to try to get the point across... The only reason I'm still there is I'm cheap and don't want to pay a higher dispensing fee ...

Better than any other pharmacy I've been to and less expensive. Friendly service. Good prices on non-prescription items. The line-ups sometimes get long, as others have complained about, but I suspect that's because a lot of folks prefer using the Costco Pharmacy to the alternatives.

This review is based on the past experience for a family of three people requiring average 2-3 types of medication each. Professionalisms: The pharmacists patiently explain how to use the new medication and answered all your questions. Most administrative staffs are polite, but the level of service can go either ways. There are times that a lady offered to communicate to my doctor when the doctors office missed sending a prescription. However, I wish the other couple of administrative staffs would keep their spirits up and listen to the prescription refill requests with better manners rather than cutting me off on the phone. There was a case that he hung up the phone claiming they were too busy and denying an error of a prescription instead of trying to look into it. With my persistence, they reviewed the prescription and resolved the problem which was a pharmacy error. Inventory: No stock for uncommonly used drugs, and needs to order on demand. To avoid waiting, I went to another pharmacy 15 km away for specialty drugs. Cost: less than half of the dispense fee compared to other pharmacies. Wait Time: it can take up to 72 hrs to get your medication filled, not sure if this is related to COVID and large amount of patients. Verified with other pharmacies it will be approximately 15 minutes. It really depends on why you want, there are both pros and cons.

I used this pharmacy for years, and they've messed up my prescriptions on multiple times. When you're dealing with medications, you really should be more careful. For those who are older, or who don't speak English as a first language, that can have terrible consequences. Would not recommend this pharmacy, even if the dispensing fees are low.
